WHAT TO SEE AND DO IN EASTER ROSS

Easter Ross offers an ideal opportunity to combine leisure activities with retail therapy!

The region offers 4 golf courses with another 8 within easy reach, numerous sea and course fishing locations, horse riding and cycle/walking trails.

Investigate the history and heritage of the area in one of the many museums, visit local arts & crafts outlets such as potteries, silversmiths and internationally famous brand outlets for whisky and quality fabrics.

The larger communities of Alness, Invergordon and Tain have a good selection of local shops.

You may spot seals in the firth and migrating flocks of birds, high in the sky. The wetlands and waters of the Cromarty and Dornoch Firths are home to oystercatchers, herons and a myriad of other waders. The RSPB has a Reserve at Nigg bay.

Buzzards and Hawks can often be sighted inland … also home to Red Squirrels, Pine Martens, Deer, Owls, Grouse and the elusive Capercaillie.

Taking time out to Explore Easter Ross, will not disapoint.
